We were deeply honored to have Denise perform the ceremony that not only married us, but brought our hearts right out to the surface for the ceremony. She created a powerful space for us, and it was hands down, the sweetest moment of our relationship. Weddings can so easily be a mish mash of stress and huge expectations, and I am not lying when I say she exceeded our expectations and there was a sense of calmness and enjoyment throughout working with her.

Rites of Passage

The amazing way Denise led the Rite of Passage for my Daughter when she had her first menstrual cycle was truly beautiful. My daughter left the ceremony with a whole new attitude about what it is to be female and to have the blessing of having her monthly. I only wish that I had had something like this when I started. Instead of seeing it as a "curse". Even I learned what an honor and a true privilege it is to be a women. I recommend this to every parent or guardian with a daughter who is turning in to a young woman. Huge gratitude! Angela H. 
After my wife of many years passed away, I was really crushed. I was really struggling with coming to terms with not having her by my side. Being "single" was really a challenge for me. Doing a Rite of Passage, honoring the past and letting go of that role of being a husband has really helped me focus on where I am now. Not to say that I don't miss my wife but I am living more in my present than in my past. I am actually starting to enjoy life again and my kids and grandkids see the difference. I am able to truly enjoy my time with them and that is really important. Very glad I did this Passage thing even though I really didn't know what it was all about. One of my daughter's friends told her about it and I am glad she did. I am thankful to Amber Healing Center.. Henry M.

Celebration of Life Ceremony

​Back in 2014 I created the event, A Celebration of Life – 2014. In an attempt to honor my soulmate, Geri, on the second anniversary of her transition. My intention was to gather people together that were struggling with grief and to create a healing environment. I had become aware of the native people’s ceremony of opening of Sacred Space through some people with whom I had experienced two very personal healing sessions using Sacred Space. And I was determined to start my event by opening Sacred Space to create a holy space for the gathering. So I contacted Denise Miller to perform this ceremony.

The celebration began with me honoring my soulmate Geri. Then I read a long list of names given to me by others who wished to honor their loved ones no longer on earth. Then I turned the event over to Denise. She did an outstanding job! She opened the gathering so beautifully, everyone felt it! She sang incredible, traditional honour songs for those who had passed, as well as singing the Strong Woman Song for my soulmate. Her voice is amazing!! It was so moving. During the ceremony the energy at this venue was palpable. I looked around the stage and all the musicians were wearing awestruck looks across their faces. At this point, I stepped back and said “Urban, your job here is done now go enjoy yourself.”

All afternoon various individuals that I had never previously encountered approached me with their grief stories… "In my family we don’t grieve… This is the first time I have grieved in 8 years… I found healing today!" The whole idea was to bring healing to the hurting and this was accomplished many times over… People heeded my call and got their friends there, the place was packed…

Solstice

Last winter my husband and I attended a Winter Solstice Ceremony at Denise's. It was really amazing. She guided us in protocol and led a very peaceful ceremony that really helped me let go of the past and set my goals and intentions for the new year. We were both really honored and glad to have been able to experience such a valuable ceremony that honors the natural cycle of life. Funerals

Last year someone I cared for deeply died either of an overdose or suicide. His family had long since rejected him. Only I and one other person cared enough come to the funeral. I am a Christian and I have to say that the Funeral that Denise led for my friend was amazing. It was non denominational and her singing was amazing and so healing. Just the way she led the Ceremony was a great healing for me. I am extremely thankful. I truly believe that it helped my friend on his journey to the other side. Anonymous​
