Denise is passionate about helping others to live full, healthy, happy lives! It is with this intention that she created Amber Healing Center.
Inspired by her own healing journey, Denise became a Certified Colon Hydrotherapist and Detox Coach in 2004. She interned with, worked for and eventually bought Willow’s Water Works Colon Hydrotherapy in 2009. She established Amber Healing Center in 2013. Denise, a Manitoba Michif (Metis), honours her French, Cree, Ojibwa and Saulteaux Native American Ancestry. She is a singer, has sung for and led or performed internationally for a variety of Ceremonies including Weddings, various Rites of Passage and Funerals. She became an Ordained Minister in 2017. She is honoured to be a Full Mesa Carrier of the Qu'ero Peruvian tradition and is a Rite Giver of the Munay Ki. She is a member of Native Women Entrepreneurs of Arizona. |

She is a Global Chant Facilitator and a Keynote Concert Presenter. She Is a Harmony Circle Facilitator. She offers weekly Traditional Drum Teachings, White Bison meetings and a monthly healing ceremony at The Haven, a local treatment center for women in recovery from addiction.
Finally, Denise is a certified Dying Consciously Practitioner and offers Funeral Services.
Denise speaks English and French fluently. She also speaks functional Spanish and Moroccan Arabic.

Peggie's first interest in natural health came when she was in her early 20’s while bustling through life with 3 children and just constantly not feeling well. Not one of the conventional doctors she visited could help her or even agree on a diagnosis of the issues. She then started researching everything she could find about eastern medicine and natural health. This is when she first heard about colon hydrotherapy and started on her path to healing.
Peggie continued in this obsession by researching voraciously anything she could about natural health and wellness. Over the next several years taking clerical and support jobs in naturopathic offices. She ultimately was offered a position as a colon hydrotherapist and was told by her mentor, who had over 20 years of experience, that she was a natural at it!
Peggie received her certification in colon hydrotherapy from Specialty Health in 2015 and boasts hands-on treatment, with over 8 years of experience. She also offers the use of essential oils and reflexology during treatments.
Peggie continues to explore new horizons in this breakthrough field of natural health, focusing on diet and detox, along with homeopathic and herbal remedies for healing and support of the entire system.

Massage Therapist
Ava is a Tucson native, raised with the principles of integrity, compassion, patience and presence. She was drawn to the path of Massage and Bodywork in 2008 as an intuitive practice. In 2009, she received certification from The Providence Institute School of Massage and went on to develop in her private practice.
Her experience in massage has ranged from providing chair massage at a Texas car wash and corporate events, to working at a spa and traveling for personalized in-home treatments. More recently, she has worked for 4 years in Tucson as a massage therapist at a renowned rehabilitation center; supporting in a myriad of walks from chronic pain, trauma, addiction, anxiety and depression.
Blending Energetic and Soft and Deep Tissue techniques such as Craniosacral Therapy, Zero Balancing, Myofascial Release, Lymphatic and Trigger Point Work with Positional Release and Neuromuscular Body-rocking, Ava provides treatments tailored to each person’s unique musculoskeletal patterns.
Alongside her bodywork journey, Ava has developed a practice in sound vocalization and guided visualization for energetic and emotional clearing and elevation. She calls this technique Somatic Sound Mapping. Through prayer and conscious spiritual guidance, she draws through sounds of the sub-conscious and surrounding environment in the form of language and song to support the embodiment of one’s true potential in connection with the natural world.
From childhood, Ava was surrounded by music driven by the rhythm of inspiration and improvisation. She awakened to her Mediumship abilities after having channeled a passed-over loved one when she was a teenager. This experience was a catalyst for her quest of intuition development through sound, meditation, Galactic Mayan Calendar study and embodied connection with nature. The way she currently expresses her Mediumship is through inspired movement, sound, Galactic Mayan birth signature readings and touch.

Amber Healing Center welcomes our newest practitioner! Frank Villa hails from Megdalena de Kino, Sonora, Mexico, raised primarily in Yuma, AZ and has lived in Tucson since 2013.
A client of Amber Healing Center, Frank faced some debilitating issues with his lymphatic system. His lymph nodes had swelled to the point that even a cough became excruciating. Denise suggested the Ionic Foot Detox Bath to him. After a few sessions his lymph began to shrink. He has researched the lymphatic system extensively. He is living proof of the benefits of the Ionic Foot Detox Bath. We at AHC, believe, he is the perfect practitioner to offer you your treatments. Frank is dedicated to his own healing journey. Susan Hamill CCHT

Susan's main work in this life has been with food and healing. She was raised by gourmet cooks, so food was a sensual experience at a very early age. Her gastronomic passion galvanized in college with her introduction to macrobiotics and the notion of food as purity and health. Later, when her husband was diagnosed with a critical, and potentially life threatening illness, with her encouragement and cooking, he healed completely using macrobiotics and a positive attitude as his only tools. Then she began teaching , spending the next 20 years working with people with critical health issues and degenerative diseases.
After 36 years of working with food-cooking privately, teaching over a thousand classes from California to Main, catering, nutritional counseling, owning a small health-food store, and exploring many food as medicine modalities, Susan's diet, while sometimes loose and easy, generally focuses on local, high mineral, live and fermented foods. |
Years ago she began to offer raw and life food cleanses and in 2009, Susan realized the benefits of colon cleansing by itself and also to enhance other forms of cleansing. She added colon hydrotherapy to her toolbox to help people heal and stay healthy. Susan interned with Denise Miller both in Tucson and Maine. Amber Healing Center is thrilled to welcome our newest practitioner, Blue Thunder who comes from the lineage of Black foot and Cherokee tribes of the Osage Nation. From a young age, she has always seen, felt and heard from the enigmas of universe and spirit realm. She has over 40 years of experience helping others with a diverse blend of healing abilities.
Her first certification was for Reflexology & Corporate Chair Massage, by way of Academy of Somatic Healing Arts in 2000. Soon after, she become a 5th Dimensional Reiki Master, under the mentorship of Vedam Clementi. Her intuitive nature lead her to learn other Energy / Emotional Healing modalities after a number of near death experiences & traumatic events. She has worked with a Lakota Medicine Healer, a New Zealand Ancient Moari Crystal Healer Elder, Peruvian Elders, the International Sound Therapy Association, NASM, Horizon Healing Center, and more. In 2012, she became an Ordained Minister.

While serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco, Denise met Mui l"Aanber, Amber, who had previously been a slave. Denise became very close with Amber and the family who freed her. Amber's story is truly inspiring. In spite of enslavement, Amber embraced her true divine worth and inner strength. She was a woman of strong faith and wisdom. It was her beautiful, strong soul and kind heart that inspired a woman to buy her freedom. Amber went from slave to highly revered sage; honored and deeply loved for her gentle wisdom and huge sense of humor. Mui L’Aanber embodies the ability we all have to free ourselves from whatever prevents us from truly living free, happy lives. Amber is a guiding force and inspiration to us. Our goal at Amber Healing Center is to help you free yourself from what ails you. It is in her honor that Amber Healing Center is named.
